Having a trouble getting used to the lights and the instrument cluster . I think we have heard this before, with M3 grill and I drive 8. To me the instrument cluster has to be better mated with dashboard

I like the LCI in the right colors but WTF do I need to pick a color to make a car look good? WTF!
Saw this abomination in the streets of Madrid last week and my mind immediately went to the LCI.

We don't have Citroën in the states but we do have a Korean company callled Hyundai they have two cars the Sante Fe and Palisade which from 2020 and up feature that slit lights. But I can see the similarities would be a lot similar if the Citroën was a bit more sharper in the front

Think you hate the double headlight look? There are plans to keep adding more for each new LCI

I think the double headlight look is at least acceptable on darker colors because it appears the lenses are tinted.....but from pics I've seen on here...there is really no way to make it look decent on light colors. Still waiting to see one in person to pass judgment overall.

Most did not like the outgoing design when it first launched, grill was too big, headlights were too narrow. It grew on folks and the x7 is everywhere now. I did not like the iX front end but when I saw it in person it was much better looking. I'm on the fence with the '23 x7 but will wait to see it in person.

I get people getting heated about this polarizing design. People that hate it probably feel like BMW is moving in the wrong direction and feel that BMW is slipping away to something they don't like. People that love it probably just put a deposit down on one and don't want to hear they just dropped 100k on an ugly car. Either way if you drive an X7 or are getting one they aren't cheap so naturally when it comes to our money we want to think we have the best. We all share the same passion here which is BMW, why else would we be on the forums?
I personally don't like the design and rushed in a last minute order for a '22. From a practical stand point I hate that they got rid of buttons on the '23. At the end of the day I'm happy with my new '22 and who knows maybe in the future the new design will grow on me. But in the mean time I will enjoy my 22 for many years and hope we can all just realize we are here for the same thing which is the passion we have for our own X7's. And you know what they say about opinons are like ...and we all have one |
