Exhaust options

Going to be picking up my new x7 m50i this week and plan to do something with the exhaust immediately. I'm thinking a muffler delete and catless downpipes. I really want to hear the turbo. Does anyone have a good setup they can share with some videos?

I'm making custom exhaust for us X7 owners. I should have it on my x7 soon!

Why do that?
Surely the exhaust tone is loud enough for a luxury SUV?

Sure it wasn't a criticism, but I would of thought the rumble of a 50i provided a sweet sound

It sounds nice on a cold start but I barely hear the exhaust in the cabin when driving

Thats the point of all the extra sound insulation in the X7. Other than artificially pumping in more noise which you can adjust, it’s a refined luxury SUV. Compared to the competition the V8TT in the X7M50i is one of the best sounding factory exhaust. Plenty of genuine low end rumble and pops and bangs for those out side the vehicle. We don’t even have a restricted rev limiter when in park like most others do.

It's amazing that we get some nice crackling on our stock m50i exhaust. I've had a few peeps ask me how much does it cost to make their BMW sound like that.

My response: "Your wife..." tee hee hee

How do you pump in more noise? I don't want it louder, I just want to know how?

X7 m50i resonator delete. Have any of you guys done this along with the SST valve control? If so is it worth it? Not looking for crazy loud but trying to get the start up sound to stay!
