Hello

I wanted to know if this happens to any one

cobb accessport stays on when car is off? Is there a way to turn it off but keep it plugged in to the obd2 port?

V2 APs have to be unplugged but V3s can be turned off and left connected.

I personally don't recommend leaving any tune plugged into the OBD I I port for long period of time because it stretches the port and can result in connectivity issues in the long run.

(Same thing that happens to cell phone chargers with older phones). Those ports and pins get stretched and bent.

Perhaps I'm being conservative when I say this but I've seen it happen in the past, although they were extreme cases.

Just something to think about. Especially since it's by your feet and has potential to be kicked around too.

I like to use those ports strictly for diagnostics only.

Don't mean to jack the thread, but where is the eTune purchase on your website? All I see is additional map purchase and AP purchase now..

Thanks for pointing that out! Shoot an email to sales@protuningfreaks.com and we can set the order up that way.
