VANCOUVER - Any M4 owner here?

I'm looking for a F80 M3 / F82 M4 to do the 3D scan. Any new owners?

I got my car from the BMW Store and I think it was the 3 or 4th delivery in NA, I got my car on June 14th. I put in the dealership's first deposit back in Feb, and ordered a SO M3 with a MT. The dealership got in a very early YMB, DCT, Carbon Roof, Carbon interior, Full Leather, and fully loaded, so they called me to see if I wanted it. It's not what I ordered, but I'm really happy to have the car so early, and I'm actually really loving the color and transmission. For those who are waiting for theirs, this is a fantastic car!

Nice! You paid msrp I was assuming? How long have you been with them? Did you also had to pay the $3000 freight and pdi ?

talk about horrible lease rates, I went by BJBMW recently, and one of the SA said they have a AW with red interior M3 coming in a couple of weeks. It's pretty much fully loaded (not sure if it had CCB), sticker price was $100,000, monthly payment was around $1700...

maybe I'm getting too old, but $100K for a M3 is a bit absurd....

I just drove 3100km through Germany, Austria and Italy in my new M4. The M4/3 is worth every penny of $100k. The E92 was $90k+ so I feel this F8x is a bargain. But yes, lease rates suck. New generation woes.

I have never leased a car and I have bought with cash and traded in my last 3 BMW's.

I am considering buying a 2015 or 2016 M3 next summer or fall, lets assume I don't have a trade in. The only 2 options I am considering are adaptive suspension and orange leather interior MSRP before tax is $79,200 after a 2% BMW club discount, $1,000 loyalty discount and 6.5% off MSRP I expect to pay $71,700 before tax and $82,500 after the 15% luxury tax here in B.C.

I don't drive my car very much and after 4 years I expect to be able to sell the M3 with 50,000 km for $40,000 for a net cost (besides opportunity cost on my money) of $42,500 over for 48 months of $885 per month. I know we are not comparing apples to apples with a highly optioned M3 (with most options that I would never use) but why would anyone pay $1,700 per month for a M3 that is $10,000 more per year than essentially the same M3 that I am considering? Am I missing something in my math or do some people just have so much money that they don't care?

First world problems if you can ONLY afford a base M3. Have you driven one yet? Save it for when you are ready brother

You're comparing a less optioned car with discounts to a fully loaded one without any negotiations whatsoever.

Having said that, I agree, paying $1700 for a m3 is crazy!

I am more inclined to lease because of work as I get to write off a portion of the car payment as business expense.

By the way, there was a decently optioned 640 grand coupe, around $100K cash and the monthly lease payment is $2000.

These are the rare times I envy our neighbors down south...

The last time I checked 3 weeks ago at Brian Jessel they didn't have 1 on the showroom floor but yes I am afraid of what might happen if I take one for a test drive, especially a 6 speed manual but I highly doubt they will have any manuals to test drive
