Car won't boost over 5 PSI and sounds like I have a EWG

Ok so today i'm driving around and everything is fine then I go to accelerate and notice the gas gauge is stuck at 1/4 mile and there is an extremely loud sound like the car is a STi with external waste gate. It basically just sounds like loud air being released anytime I go WOT now. I already took off the covers and checked the obvious charge pipe and fmic connections along with the vac line going from my BOV to manifold and haven't seen anything... Anyone have any ideas? Log and video below

Gotta be a boost leak...Codes?

The gas gauge thing I'd think is unrelated. The fuel float can get stuck on something, or can just become defective. Mine gets screwy at 1/4 tank as well, i've inspected and it's not getting stuck. So only thing I can think of is that the sensor has gone bad...that still doesn't answer why it works fine and dandy until 1/4 tank.

N54 problems dude....

Did the lower charge pipe crack/come off if you don't have the metal one? It is odd that your map sensor picks up ~5psi and then goes back down when your off throttle. This is where it would be nice to have a vac gauge to see if it is an after throttlebody issue. Best of luck.

I have my fuel gauge set up as a boost gauge so its nothing fuel related. Really weird it just happened all of a sudden but it is really hot out today so maybe that did something?

I peaked at lower charge pipe and it looked secure to me but maybe it cracked. I'll try and have a better look at it tomorrow i guess

IDK...5 pounds is an odd place to have it at.

One time my lower CP blew off at the front mount outlet, the car wouldn't build more than like .5 pounds...so if it's a boost leak it's somewhere between very minor, and significant. Which of course makes it a PITA to track down.

Is it throwing 30FF codes?

OEM DVs, or silicone elbow might have a hole on the under side from rubbing against some metal lines. Happened to me once on the CP to FMIC silicone connection on the cold side....

Well I found it. This morning I went out to double check everything and noticed a bit of oil down on the lower charge pipe connection. Tore everything a part and I guess the lower charge pipe popped off just enough to leak. Everything seems to be running fine now
