Thanks again, installed and works like a charm.

3 hours is a typical install, for me more like 5 - 6 broken between 2 days. When its my car i take crazy time and make sure every wire is ran in proper or equal lengths, hidden well, doesnt cut any existing wires, rattle free, and all mounted out out of sight.

basically if you care for your car / or OCD = whole day install lol

Used fuse 47 with tap-in fuse from autozone(excelent product! must have) and got my signal by tapping into the Yellow/Red thickest wire behind the idirve screen. Everything turns on / shuts off in sync, basicaly seemless.

Hey Fibercus.
Glad it worked out for you. Think you can help me out if I get a unit?

Thanks,

PM me and I'll definitely help you out - it can be tricky.

I will Post some pics of my install on another thread. I actually placed the unit inside the dash (unlike DIY threads) and only the cables that you may need to get access too are located in the footwell.
