V1 Hardwire - Mirrortap
Used these instructions:
http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=780561 Works great with a Mirrortap with the 0.040" micro connectors. |

MirrorTap, 3000 Series, .040" Tap, Radar Detector, Power Cord With Inline Fuse, 12" Long
(2015 BMW M3) http://store.blendmount.com/mirrorta...ong-p1767.aspx You could probably be fine with the 9" cord but there is plenty of space to tuck the cord in. |

It may be a little pricey but I recommend going with the Savvy connection. Plugs into
The OBD port which provides power and an accessory port. |
