Has anyone painted 193 wheels black?

I've got an e92 335i that came with the 193 style and I ditched them for 20 inch black rims. Mistake learned but I still want black rims so I was thinking about painting these.

Thoughts?

Search around this forum. I've seen a few threads where people have them finished in gloss black. Looks pretty good in my opinion.

Not the best picture but they were black for about a week before I changed colors. Yes it is Plasti-Dipped.

I've seen them painted matte black and glass black. Both look good in person..

Did you just use the black Plasti dip or did you finish it with a clear coat or something? Looks nice.

Plasti-dip (when applied correctly) looks surprisingly good in person

Correctly is the key word. Take your time the first time along with correct spray pattern & distance.

They look great! And to not change the subject, Black 193's are really nice im sure there are a lot of pics in this forum of them.
