Which exhaust do i Have?

Hey guys, when i bought my car i was told it was stock except for the dual cone intake. A buddy got a 08 335i and when we were looking at his, we noticed that we have different exhausts. He got his from a bmw dealer in atlanta and has a warranty, so im assuming hes right about his being stock, which has me curious as to what I have. Turns out I also have bov's too, which he doesnt have. Here is a picture of my exhaust from the rear.

did you even look at it before you bought it?? i didnt know people blindly buy cars, you didnt even pop the hood!?

well its pointless to talk crap now he already bought the car so lesson learned. back to the topic, i would think its an HKS. i hope he made sure the car passes emissions and there are catalytic converters

To the guys who said it looks like an HKS above, it looks nothing like one. Not sure where you guys got that from. MagnaFlow is probably closer to it like someone mentioned above.

Thanks for the info guys. Sorry for being such a noob and not knowing the difference between stock and aftermarket.

I looked at the car before i bought it, but since im new to e92s and bmws in general, how was i supposed to know exactly what everything looks like? Its not like there is a pic thread saying "this is stock setup"...besides, im not complaining, i got a great price. Price is even better now that I know its got more aftermarket stuff on it.

As far as emissions go, the exhaust doesnt have any type of smell to it, so hopefully all the cats are still there. Iv got a jb4, so if it does throw a code ill get the bms dp fix and try that. Whats done is done, no point worrying about it now.

well aftermarket parts dont increase the value of the car, actually in this case they decrease it. And no car comes with a Blow off Valve so thats a no brainier. Glad you got a good deal, at second glance i would say it may even me a chopped stock exhaust but i would say if it is anything its magnaflow, even if its chopped the mufflers look like magna. and the tips. magnaflows welds are usually a little better than those. you can check for your secondary cats they should be visible at the midpipes just after where the downpipes connect to the exhaust system. and then the stock dps have cats on them. might have to lift it to see those two. while your at it see if you have a stock FMIC.

I recently brought a e92 n55 335 knowing that it got aftermarket muffler. However i have been trying to match it with different photo on web, none of them looks like mine, so may i please seek for ideas what make is it, and the main reason is the exhaust is extremely quiet now... If possible, may i know if the mid pipe are oem as i seen lots of the photo from an oem exhaust and it seems a bit different
