JB4 logging

Hi guys

Real newb question here and I've tried searching but can't find the answer I need.

I have had the JB4 installed and the USB cable is somewhere around the DME and was not routed through the glovebox. How do I go about logging my WOT runs?

Can I do the WOTs then connect the car later to my laptop OR do I need to have the USB cable connected to the laptop whilst doing the WOT runs (which won't work since I can't have the hood open haha?

Read through some "how to" threads on N54Tech, and e90post. They're out there.

Connect laptop to JB4 to datalog. Use Datazap.me to upload the log files and read them properly.

Just use a usb extension cord and run it through the window or the door jam. Run logs/remove cord.

Why not spending the extra 10 mins and do it right the first time?
