Just ordered 8L of 5w30 Castrol Edge for...
£36 delivered!
The real deal son! Well I ordered couple days back but wanted to share this delightful bargain with the rest of the homies on hurr! It comes and goes on ebay so just keep an eye out. I missed it last week and thought, 'right, not letting that happen again'. |

Superb retail price quality oil too as a Castrol dealer I'd say without a doubt if you need oil snap this up as the price is verging at almost knocking on the door of tradeish type money (though we buy 205 litre drums)direct.
Just on the oil thing and BMW from memory if I'm right BMW UK if I've heard right may be switching their allegiance from Castrol to Mobil don't know how strong that rumour is mind... Last edited by old grey steve; 07-11-2014 at 03:54 PM.. |

That's only because BMW has a contract with them which is coming to an end at the end of this year. Looks like Pennzoil is the next one for BMW.

I've heard the same as posted above I was told it was Mobil, but could be wrong, Pennzoil I'd think would be a real issue over here due to brand identity we don't know it get well Mobil/Castrol are well known respected I think Pennzoil though know overseas would take some promoting. We as a Indy dealer were a Petronus dealer, we thought the association with Mercedes their brand plastered over F1 cars wouldn't probe an issue yet for most we had to explain who they were(even our Mercedes customers hadn't cottoned on to the brand) even tough it's got the association and blessing of the manufacturer.

Well mine turned up today so storing away for whenever my next service is due in 5-7k miles.
Anyways I'm happy with Castrol have always used it. I'd also happily use Mobil 1, which is better priced. At £36 delivered for 8L, you just can't go wrong! |
