M Perf Exhaust Tip & Carbon Covers

Oh no, twice in a week my son has had shorts on trying to get something out of the boot and his bare leg has touched the hot stainless MPerf exhaust, mini burn

Does anyone think the carbon tips will protect from this and look cool too of course

From your sig, it looks like your tips stick pretty far out. Do you have the rear diffuser as well? I'm wondering if you got the longer tips meant for the m performance rear diffuser instead of the smaller tips meant for the stock diffuser.

Yes it's MPerf rear diffuser as well as exhaust.

I have no idea how they will do as far as reducing heat, but it is a great excuse to purchase the CF tips. "Honey, its for the safety of our child." I'd go for it as soon as possible.

Somebody with the M Performance tips chime in here. I have the M Performance muffler with the factory tips and it does not extend out that far past the rear valance, but i did order the kit with regular valance. Could the tips be installed incorrectly?

you can have them stick out as far as you want, its adjustable. for me i pushed it in all the way. i don't think it looks very good sticking out, reminds me of mustangs.

The CF tips won't help with burns, unfortunately. As you can see, the metal part sticks out further than the carbon sleeve.
