$11K for set of 20" BBS wheels??

Does this make any sense whatsoever? I was quoted $11k for a set of 20" BBS wheels yesterday.

Yes, those are the ones. Can somebody please explain to me why they are so fucking expensive??? They are essentially pieces of metal shaped into a wheel. Is BBS making like 4000% profit??????????

I'm obviously not the only one. If there wasn't a market, they wouldn't exist.

Maybe you should get into the wheels making business. Do what they do and just charge 50% profits

19" BBS RI-D were ~$9,500 from Japan. So makes sense that 20s would cost that much (which is still too high IMO).

Custom wheels

Wish Ralph & Chuck (RAC) were still doing wheel projects. The 19" RG63s I got for my E92 are light, super quality and super strong for $4k.

Ok now that that's done, Tire Rack has nothing in its search results page for the M4

Check out the HRE Flow Form FF01s. Those are in the range of $5k with tires.

Thanks. I tried this two weeks ago and it came up empty. I guess they finally updated it!!

EDITED: They updated only the wheels section. I wanted to also get tires but when I search for wheels and tires together it comes up empty.

That's what they quote. Those are nice looking wheels.

I'm not getting them because I found BBSs that I REALLY like for $4,600 all in (rims, tires and shipping) so I think I'm going to get those instead:

http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...All&sort=Brand

The only problem is that I don't like buying unless I can see how it looks first...
