Vacuum canister, able to remove?

I searched and couldn't find anything about removing the vacuum canister and what exactly would be the effects if any if I do remove them. I've only seen a view posts here and there about people just deleting them. Reason I ask is because I'd like to clean up my engine bay a bit and for work space.

They're needed for the wastegates. Don't remove them!

You can deleted them once you swap to a single turbo with a boost actuated gate

Care to elaborate? Couple people felt no change. How does it effect them?

Lots of info on how the N54 turbo system operates.

You might start here under "boost pressure control":
