Woke up my car - Forge DVs

Last night I put in Forge DVs (replaced Stocks) and OMG its a day and night difference - Though I had no codes & I thought no leaks but the Stock DVs were def leaking, the car is so much more responsive on light throttle ... I dont hear the turbo whistle as much maybe coz they're working less now ?? .. If you guys are considering things for an upgrade this one for sure has some value!!

I did check my Stock DVs for leaks etc and had replaced one 6 months ago ... they're just garbage if u're tuned

Running Cobb Stg1+FMIC w 93 grade

That's awesome dude. Happy for you. I am a little sad that I can't afford those right now. I can only do Chargepipe and I so want to do Forge DVs!

Oh well, next job after this then! Gotta save for them!

Funny you mention this. I put Forge DV's and a ER CP on at the same time. Also noticed much reduced turbo siren noise. Car did not seem to pull harder or anything but was smoother and quieter. Recently did the RB PCV valve upgrade and that also added another level of smoothness. Hard to quantify these things but you definitely notice a difference.

Now i wonder if mine are suspect. Car feels strong though currently. Could it be leaking slightly enough that there's no under boost code? My datalogs look healthy though.

I didnt have any codes, there's a DIY to test the stock DVs I'll paste the link if I can find it

Don't know about you guys but I was amazed at how cheesy and cheap the stock DV's and CP were once I had them out and looked at them closely. When you consider 20 PSI or so is what you run in a decent dirt bike tire, surprised the stock hardware does not just pop right off under any load.
