BMW i Drivers Guide App
Not sure if this is common knowledge or not; I just found it yesterday by accident.
For those who have their VIN number already, you can download the BMW i Drivers Guide App (for either iOS or Android) which contains some cool stuff, but most importantly the full Owner's Manual. You can download it anyway, which I did; however, without a VIN, only the "demo" portion works which happens to be a demo i3 manual, not an i8 manual. I was hoping to get my hands on a manual but don't have a VIN yet so will have to wait. http://www.bmw.com/com/en/owners/bmw...egory=&device= Just thought I'd share as it might help pass the time while your i8 is being built. If you find the site that did the 0-60 tests back in LA, they have a vin on their form that works.
EDIT: managed to find the site, not sure why couldn't see it a minute ago : http://www.roadandtrack.com/car-revi...ngs-we-learned |

I tried my VIN (last 7 digits) and it didn't work. Must require that the car has completed production for the system to recognize it. It worked when I put in the R&T VIN, however. Interesting to note that the manual is written for the UK market, as indicated by some of the spellings (e.g. "favourites").
