Pulled the trigger on a full M-Sport conversion, including the M door sills and M3 steering wheel/trim (I prefer it over the M-sport wheel/trim).

Ordered from Husker BMW and the prices were unreal by comparison... It should be a solid 2 weeks before they arrive, though. Coming from Germany.

No, I had them on my last car and didn't like them. They get in the way. I don't mind the LCI paddle shifters one bit

Anyone who's had to run to the dealer for nuts and bolts knows... over buy from the well-priced place and put them in a bin if you don't use them.

The clips for side skirts were $2.38 per piece at my dealer. I paid .68 for them today. Can't beat it!!!

Sort of wish I got the MSport brake handle but the X1 brake handle looks cooler and is more unique. Keep going back and forth on the X1 parts.

It makes complete sense.

Because my car can be an M Sport. It shares 98-99% of the same parts. The only non-cosmetic difference is suspension and speed limiter. My car has the increased speed limiter and Msport suspension from factory, so I am almost obligated to take it all the way!
However, something like 60% of an M3 is unique to the M3. My car isn't any more an M3 than it is a convertible coupe, and that's equally silly to try and embody.

I don't have anything like that. I'm selling my brake ducts that I cut custom for the M3 rep bumper that's on there now, and the rest I'll probably post in classified section.

By that logic, sure. Is it an M sport on the VIN, yes or no, the answer is no. I can't be bothered with caring about that.
I do wish the $3800 (or whatever) package was equipped on the car from the start, but what I'm putting into the cosmetic conversion ($2500 with paint) is more than the difference between sport package and msport package. I do wish it had come M Sport for that reason. Then again I have better suspension, steering wheel, but no alcantara headliner and accompanying black visors, etc.

When I order the M3, I'll be sure to remember these kinds of things to convince myself to dig a little deeper :-D

Just a 9006 adapter from ebay... $8 shipped for mine.

And your choice of 9006 bulbs. Don't be an idiot and install HID fog lifts in the non-projector housings
