i have a 2014, and after removing the battery i also had some difficulty getting it to work,
im not sure under which conditions the car is design to do the initialization, i found it would work after doors closed and starting the engine, and keeping the button pressed (up) for about 20 seconds, but the process is long the roof goes through many setups. so the process ends up with me holding the button for about 1 minute. |

Thanks for your help, do I have to open the roof first? When you mean pushing up means retracting or inclining?

push the button up, like you are trying to open vent position.
like i said. close the door, start the engine, push the button, hold it in for atleast 30 seconds, before shutting down the engine, locking the car unlocking and trying again. if the roof starts to move from the vent position, then wait untill ti goes throught all positions, because if it doesnt finish the proccess, it doesnt work. |
