$1000 off msrp LA Area
anyone in the market for the new e90 around LA area and not having any luck with price off msrp should consider South bay BMW. Just speak w/ Steve Marx he has been a fleet manager for 20 years and you would get 1000 off msrp w/out any hassle, one of the reasons i am posting this is b/c my experience w/ dealers around LA area has been frustrating to say the least and from what i am reading on the forum most people would be relieved to get 500 off. Also when he had to do dealer trade for me for an in-transit car unlike other dealers he did not charge any transportation fee. goodluck w/ the process.

Look for Shelly Fisher at BobSmith BMW. Really nice guy, no pressure. Laid back (We're in LA dammit!) He will do $1500 over invoice as well.

I got mine for a lil over $1,000 over invoice. But I also ordered in early May. When I picked up my car, the Fleet dealer, who I bought my car from, said there was no way he'd offer a similar deal now since they are in their busy months and have had no problems selling them without any discounts.

That is why ED can be especially great -- the cars do not come out of the dealer's alotment and so they are 'free' so to speak, to sell without concern for what the market is bearing. So you can almost always get one for 1k over invoice. An ED is not a car that is part of the dealership's limited supply.
