IND | F8X M3/M4 Painted Key Hole Cover
The F8X M3/M4 painted key hole cover is the perfect addition for those looking for a clean, uninterrupted appearance. The covers utilize an original BMW OEM core, and by painting these OEM parts at IND's own in-house paint facility, we ensure a nearly perfect paint match every time. We offer almost all factory BMW colors, including BMW Individual.
The painted key hole cover is designed as a replacement for the original factory surround. We recommend installing the key hole cover on the original lock cylinder. By installing the cover on top of the lock cylinder it provides an emergency access point in the event the battery is drained. IND F8X M3/M4 Painted Key Hole Cover – Standard Colors: $44.00 Please contact IND by phone or email for more information or to place your order. 866.963.4520 | info@ind-distribution.com The IND F8X M3/M4 Painted Key Hole Cover may also be viewed here in our online store: https://ind-distribution.com/product?sku=IND-F8X-KHC Installation requires using a Torx 25. You know what could look cool on a Silverstone car? Not only say a red lock cover, but also a red door handle to go with it. Maybe on some vendor show car or something.

I recently installed mine and it looks great. One bit of advice for anyone doing it (ok two):
1. The torx screw in the door doesn't fully back out so don't try to get it out. It hits the sheet metal to prevent it from falling into the door. Smart! 2. Don't pull the door handle when the lock cylinder is removed or you'll spend ten minutes trying to reattach it to the spring clip inside. Ask me how I know! Great product. |
