let me tell you.. majority of SA you gonna run into at any dealerships usually know less than a typical enthusiast. one SA i ran into at local bmw dealer, didnt even know what "sakir orange" color was. he literally didnt even know it existed. |

The lack of knowledge of some dealership employees is astonishing. The trained and certified technician that worked on my r8 didn't know the difference between a double clutch s tronic and a single clutch r tronic when I was chatting with him about my car.

If you are a teenager with a new M3 then yes its tuned down. don't forget pre-launch control releases the extra power though. what was the method? up up down down something something. don't remember. text the guy at your BMW genius bar and he will help you.

My lead tech told me the same thing. Said BMW told him that when they do the 1200mile they remap the computer. All I know is I couldn't tell any difference after the service. :shrugs

Just wait for them to "turn it up", if it's this fast now... hang on.
Maybe you should get some vbox numbers then you can go back after their "turn up" service and tell them their service didn't' work and you need it "turned up" again. |

I just got my service done and they told me they did some programming on the car. If I noticed a difference its probably because i went from the 328i loaner and hopped back into mine haha.
