Timing of 1st Detail/Protective Coat
In your opinion:
1) When should the 1st detail/protective coat occur ...... Immediately after purchase, 1 month, 3 months? 2) I know it's a matter of opinion, but what is the best product for a lighter color (Silverstone II)? Thank you, Darius |

Within a week of ownership I went over the car with a clay bar and applied two coats of Menzerna Power Lock. There were some very slight defects that could have used a little polish, but I can hit those at the first major detail a year from now.
I also used Iron-X, but there was little to no evidence of iron contamination so I would recommend skipping this step. |
