Australian M3/M4

Ok I'm surprised there has not been any action on this sub forum. Where are all the M3/M4s in Australia? Or are as just all waiting for others to start posting? I picked mine up in late July, but haven't driven it as much as I would like to. So far it's been a delight and does everything pretty well. I won't be making this a regular track car but i will try it out on the track once at least. Here are some pics of mine. Start posting about your M3/M4s!

Nice!
I've ordered my YMB M3 with SS interior too

Like your child seat in the back - I'll have a similar set up

My wife has a black/black M4 which we have had for 3 weeks now. She loves the car. i have only driven it a little at this stage, but am really liking it.

We will be taking it out to SMSP (Eastern Creek) in September for a run where we will both drive it, so I will have a better feel for the car after that.

I think there are still very few around, I haven't seen another one on the road yet

Did you have some work done to the car by the boys at Ozi Cozi in Artarmon?

Am I dreaming or is it ridiculous money for an m3 in aus vs US? I can't remember but I thought I read how it was like 2x the price vs US.

If that's true maybe it limits the market much more and you see less on the street.

Well we pay anywhere from $170+to $190+ depending on model and spec. So no, not twice. Closer to 3 times.

Thanks Active. I do like it very much but unlike Porsche's riviera blue (which looks similar), this changes colour depending on the lighting condition. Not sure if I like that.

Yes!

I've known AJ who runs that business for years. As a matter of fact I spent this morning skiing with him.

Had my E92 M3 in at the same time last week. That is here I saw the M4, cool number plate! The boys at City Performance across the road have done all my performance upgrades. Enjoy the skiing!

The plate isn't what you think lol.

Robbo, isn't Ozi Cosi owner Terry who used to run a MCS? I'm talking like 12 years ago when I had my R53.

Terry ran ozicozi in Victoria and AJ ran it in NSW. Not sure if Terry is still doing it. AJ has a very successful business doing it up here, does loads of ferraris, porsches, astons, lambos and the like. AJ used to have a mini, we used to race together, and he did a couple of targa rallies with me.

I'm missing the M4 btw, can't wait to get back home and give it a drive!

He mentioned to me that he enjoyed racing his mini. I drove the M3 and M4 at Eastern Creek a few weeks ago. The torque is just amazing and the finish of the car is certainly a step above from the E92. When will you be picking up your M4?

USA gets the cheapest cars in the world though.
Also not completely comparable as
Average full time wage AUS = $72,800 (median = $57,400)*
Average full time wage USA = $42,500 (median = $27,500)*
That said we still get gouged.

*may not be 100% accurate.

I see now, much closer to US price when factoring the other economic changes but still a bit inflated.

Nugget is right in that our average wage is higher. However he failed to mention that our tax rates are higher and housing cost is much higher also here. So back to square one.

I actually really like the colour. What I don't like is that it changes colour to a duller colour when not in natural light. But it looks fantastic in natural light.

Looks good Way and have to agree that out in natural light it really stands out.
My MW M3 arrives in Brissy this Thursday so hopefully should get my hands on it late the following week.
I was a little disappointed the black wheels were not completely black so I went with the standard silver / grey wheels other that that i ticked full leather, hud, LEDs, driver assit, park assit (only for resale as I would never trust it or use it), sun glazing glass, freedom pack, sun shade on rear and back windows .... Think that's about it.
