Repair information on our 335D?

Hi:

One things that really bothers me about owning my 335D is the complete lack of information on our engine.

We cannot buy a Bentley repair manual for our cars that includes *any* details on our engine or electrics. For example, where, o where, do we get a fuse box listing?

In the past, for my TDI's, Bentley always had an electronic version available for our "weird" engines. It was a pain, but at least we had information.

So, has anyone had any luck getting information about our cars?

I have the generic E90 Bentley manual already, which is better than nothing, but as my car gets older... oh jeez...

I agree, it bothers me too! I couldn't find any 335d repair manuals when I was looking prior to my 335d purchase. I still have yet to find one. I did buy a Haynes repair manual for the E90 2007-2010 BMW 328i just to have some generic info about the E90 on hand. I never had a problem finding a repair manual for my old Jetta TDI, so I hope that a 335d repair manual will be made available eventually.

I was surprised about that, too. It seems to be one of these cases where it wasn't worth the effort.
Unfortunately, my latest TIS (Technical Information Service) was 2008, so also no info the 335d.
Try looking for Rheingold, ISTA/P and get it installed. If you buy the right OBD cable, it lets you read out all ECUs in the car and gives you a guided troubleshouting help for the DTCs found. It includes wiring info and technical info. Very brief repair instructions though and not very intuitve to work with.

I'll wait until 2009 TIS will hit the mainstream. Some of the stuff should be able to find on European Ds in the TIS before 2009
