receive emails

Anyone able to receive emails through the idrive system using an android device? I have the galaxy S5, it receives text msgs. But no emails or calendar. I can get the calendar to work using the BMW connected app, but I have to disconnect and reconnect to switch between streaming music and calendar.

I have he same phone and tried it tonight and had the same result as you. No reason it should not work.

I wonder if there will be a software update by the time I take the car in for the 1200 mi. service? I'm compiling a list of concerns for that service. So far the only other item I have is that some dvds won't play even though they are recent and legit.

I go in for 1200 mile service tomorrow AM. I will see if there is someone there competent enough to answer such a technical question. I just want that service done correctly and launch control etc working.

I have a HTC One and I connect it to the car via Bluetooth. Mail works fine.

Haven't tried sending yet, but receiving works fine.

HTC One is listed by BMW as having full compatibility with Office, but iPhone and S5 are only listed for SMS.
