Will these wheels fit?

Stumbled across these wheels on TireRack and I love the look, but for some reason they are only listed for use with the 1 Series and not the 2 Series, can't figure out why though.

Specs are 18x8.5 ET48.

With those measurements, there should be no reason why they wouldn't fit that I can figure out.

Breyton GTS-R

Bah! Apparently they don't fit the M235's bigger brakes, which is why they don't show up when doing a search, though they do show up if you search for 228i w/o M Sport Brake Pkg.

Yeah, I'm wondering if Tire Rack has actually tested? But why would they say they don't work if they did?

I'm tempted to order one to test and return if it's not good, it's by far the best wheel I've seen with the proper offset for the 2 Series (if it fits). There's actually two versions, the GTS and the GTS-R...both equally hot. They wouldn't have quite the concave of these buy unf!

they don't always test everything on every car. At least not right away. I've bought several sets of wheels from them that supposedly didn't fit. I also bought a wheel to test fit that they said wouldn't on my 370z and they were right, but I returned it.

So there's hope! Now the problem is which wheel to go with...they have the GTS in a 18x7.5 ET34 which would be perfect expect the 245/35-18 Michelin Super Sport tires spec says the minimum rim width is 8"...though seems people are running 245 width on 7.5" online without problems?

They also have the GTS-R in an 18x8.5 ET48 which is perfect for the rears, but the matching fronts are 18x7.5 ET45, which is the same as stock, which means I'd want a 12mm spacers on there and the point of new wheels was to get rid of the spacers.

Maybe I need to wait a while until more wheel options are available for this car?
