Hey guys,

All the dealers I've checked in the area don't have manuals, and if they do, I can't really get a feel for the car pre-break-in. So, anyone in the LA area down to meet up and show me what this bitch can do? No preference between F80/82, just manual transmission, and I'm not necessarily asking to drive (would be nice though )

Thanks,
Brandon

Can't say that I know anyone personally but I had a brief opportunity to drive an AY M4 that was unloaded off of our truck that was a 6 speed, and it's definitely a significant improvement from the E9X chassis manual gearbox. Personally the E9X manual gearbox felt like driving a manual trans truck...

I didn't mind it that much once I got the clutch stopper. Obviously it couldn't even be compared to Porsche or Ferrari manuals I've driven, but I hear great things about the new one

Test drove a buddie's MT F80 M3 on fri. It was pretty amazing. The new MT does auto rev matching! Friend had a MT E93 M3 before and says the new gearbox is much improved.
