How to remove the rear diffuser?
Hello,
Anyone with DIY instructions on removing the rear diffuser on the M4, I want to paint it in black (plastidip just in case I don't like it) but wanted to do it right and not brake a thing. Thanks in advance!

4 8mm screws at bottom, hinges out of place. Very simple.

@filip75 that looks good. I can't decide if I want to do this or get the CF diffuser...

Be sure CF diffuser will look neat, not just because of the CF but the shape also is more agressive, I think is a matter of spending a lot or a few bucks

Yeah... also want to see the aftermarket diffuser options when they start coming out. Normally I wouldn't buy aftermarket CF parts (bad experience with last car) but this diffuser is on the ass end of the car and will be hard to see close up so I thought this or wrapping it would hold me over until then...

No damage yet, not a big fun of Plastidip, but is a good temporary solution for testing.
I did it just to see if I like the final look, I will paint it black but still not sure if glossy or satin black. |
