Do I NEED Z-AIO for Zaino detailing?
Hey ya'll,
I just put together my first Zaino kit for my 335i, but I didn't notice until now that many of ya'll use Z-AIO before applying Z2. I am a little irritated because I was setting aside time tomorrow to Zaino my car, but now it looks like I might have to wait Here is what my kit consists of right now. Z-PC Z2 Z6 Z7 Z9 Z10 ZFX Z18 3 Polishing Pads I guess I could use Z-PC before applying Z2, but the paint is still in excellent condition and has very few if any swirl marks (and I read its an abrasive, so I'd rather not use unless necessary). Could I skip to Z2, or do I really need to wait to Zaino and wait for my Z-AIO to get in? Thanks!

You don't need Z-AIO. All that other stuff existed before they introduced Z-AIO. Just start off with the claybar for initial prep then start the Z2 (+ZFX for multiple coats and quicker results) application. Z6 can optionally be used in between the Z2 applications or just once in the end if you prefer, totally your choice and optional.
If you do have Z-AIO you'd clay, Z-AIO, then Z2 etc. But nope, it's not something that'd hold you up. *edit: Here's an old thread of my car after Zaino'ing (before Z-AIO existed!).
