Unhappy Chipped rim

So just noticed my rim got chipped. Not sure how it happened because I've never even parallel parked it yet. It's most likely from the freeway since I commute over 50 miles daily.

The damage is pretty deep, probably 1-2mm.
What do you guys think, is it repairable? Anyone knows a reputable shop can repair it near L.A. area?

It is so small, I would leave it. You may get another a week from now. My .02.

Yeah. Dab of touch up paint and you'll have trouble finding it.

I would just leave it, I had "reputable" places try and repair my rims before and to be honest it came out worse after...

Easily repairable with a reputable company. Let it ride. If it gets dinged again then pay someone to to it.

Look on the bright side...it was apt to happen sooner or later.

Leave it alone and it will be the only one....fix it and they multiply

Question

Just curious - would this repair be covered under the BMW Tire and Wheel Warranty if purchased?

Better be, or should I say "will be" at my dealer.

TBH, I wouldn't even bother with that on my car and I did buy the wheel/tire insurance also.

That is not too bad. What's interesting is that there isn't a single mark on a tire.

Yeah, I will just leave it for now and will take it for repair when it gets a few more chips (I know it's gonna happen sooner or later).
I do have BMW tire n wheel insurance, but it clearly says not covering any cosmetic damage.

I know, it's weird. I didn't curb it, guess it was a direct hit from a flying rock or something.

Doesn't look too bad.. I'd wait for a bit more damage before hitting up a refinishing shop.

Also, +1 for Son Tran. Have only heard good things
