M Performance spoiler without splitter

I really want to get the spoiler, but BMW says you can't have it without the splitter. The splitter is out of the question where I live due to clearance issues. Is this a real concern, or can I get the spoiler and forget the splitter.

I think you've got it backwards. If you install the splitter you have to install the spoiler. But if you just want the spoiler you don't have to install the splitter.

Why do you have to install the spoiler if you install the splitter? Just suggestions I believe. Not required.

Local dealer flat out refused the concept when I talked to them about getting pricing. Up until that point, I had been unaware of the suggestion, let alone the edict.

I have the front splitter and not the real spoiler. The dealer never said squat.
