Valve Stem Question
On my wife's 128i, I put some cheap aftermarket tire stem caps and they fused to the stem. Trying to get them off, I broke off the top of the stem (still holds air, but the stem itself is broken and the pin to let the air out is totally exposed). I assume the stems are the same on the 128 as they are on the 328 (or pretty close). Here's my question - If the stems are broken, can they just be replaced without changing the TPMS sensor, or is it all one part? I know, I know - why did I put a cheap aftermarket piece on a Bimmer. Lesson learned!

Don't know the answer for sure but this happened on my Mercury Mountaineer and I had to replace the entire sensor. Expensive lesson. I was using metal valve caps. I always use plastic now.
Good luck.

This may not be the exact part that you need, but the valve is available separately. Select one of the items in this list and look for "screw-in valve".

Thanks. I did some research and I may be okay. I was worried I would need 4 new sensors. Thanks again.
