Wheel Locks

I searched the Wheel and Tire forum and couldn't find the definitive answer to this…does the M3 and M4 come with wheel locks from the factory (not installed by the dealer during delivery)?

I believe it is dealer installed. When I did euro delivery there were no wheel locks. When I picked up the car from the dealer there where wheel locks (I also paid for this option)

Afraid you'll have to buy them at the parts counter and have them installed before you leave, sorry.

They definitely do not come with the car as OEM but all dealers are not the same. Some might give w/o even asking, some might if you ask, some just won't. My gut tells me most will give them to you free if you ask, it's a $70k car, hell even my wife's KIA Sportage dealership hooked her up for free w/o asking.

I do plan on asking mine for them plus a set up M mats also, free!

I sent my CA a long list of stuff prior to pickup and "ensure wheel locks are installed" was one of them. So yeah, mine came with wheel locks and you shouldn't have to pay for them.

Irvine BMW just installed them for free! Looked in my glove compartment and found the box with the extra lugs and key
