Only M4 complaint thus far....
The paint on the front end and hood is about as hard as cookie dough!
Have at least a 1/2 dozen real divots in the paint. Small but still there and not "buff out" cosmetic crap. This car could have used a couple of coats of serious hard clear paint. If your car is a keeper; then get the 3M or your choice of paint protection. Glad mine is a rental. Gonna give it back with the turbos melted and the wheels falling off!!! |

yep! Mine is leased so I'm not too upset. I mean, I like to have my cars look proper when I clean them but I noticed after one trip down the turnpike, I have around 7-9 rock chips in the front. Sucks. Some of them have actually gone through the paint as well. but they are pretty small.

I noticed a tiny rock ding on my bumper (like the size of the period at the end of this sentence.) ... I'm looking into XPEL for the front. I was hoping to avoid it but the day I get that first big rock chip, I will go bananas.

xpel'd entire front of car, bumper, full hood, mirrors, fenders, front of cf roof, will replace the tiny quarter panel pieces with full coverage. 80% of the car will be wrapped. I'm in augusta and we got these things called lifted pickup trucks all over. must have for this water based paint.

the other complaint I have and its nit picking a little but its the location of the rear seat openers to allow passengers to get in the back. Its in a shocking place in my view.

Also what kinds did you get and prices? |

if you never did this before its going to be pretty impossible to install it cleanly without a lot of blemishes, water bubbles, etc. i recommend you get a professional installer do your film.

half hood, fenders, bumper, headlights ran me roughly $1000CAD (incl tax). It's expensive because the M bumper has a lot of tough to cover areas.

Are you guys putting on windshield protector too? All pcars I had previously had shockingly soft windshields and had to replace them nearly every 12-14 months; otherwise they would get so nasty, it would be difficult to see through it especially with sun shining on it. I wonder how BMW windshields are in this regard?

Haha, yeah! We was talking about it on your other thread. Did you end up getting the full leather? |

Probably copy you here too. There is a shop that does this same film who has been tinting my windows. Should I have the dealer leave the plastic on my car and take it strait over? |

Harmon kardon Led headlight Executive package I think it's great to have more enthusiast that has the same taste as I do I would peel it off just so I know for sure there isn't any imperfections on the paint work prior to taking delivery of the car. |
