Help!! Loud Buzzing Noise From Dash

Hi Guys!!

Maybe you guys can help me and figure out the cause of the problem.

Anytime I go above 75 mph, I start to get a loud intermittent buzzing sound from what appears to be the center of my dash. Not sure if it is some kind of interference with the audio system. It does not happen at lower speeds, only at higher speeds. Does not matter if the radio is on or off, or if the a/c is on or off.

I did notice that the sound appeared less frequently after I removed the JBD I had installed. However, this issue existed prior to the install. The last time i took the car to the dealership, they were unable to replicate the noise.

Just dropped it off for a scheduled oil change today and provided them with a couple of videos containing the noise and instrument cluster.

Has anybody else had this experience?? Hopefully they can figure it out quickly, as my car is scheduled to go into the shop again on Wednesday for a suspension overhaul and have the ECU shipped off to be flashed.

I think I have this same noise, to me it sounds electrical? I am guessing my sound is coming from ECU area? Not sure, but I am also puzzled by this.

Could also be a vibration from the engine cover. If it's not seated properly in the back (under the cowl), you will get a vibration noise. Try taking the entire cover off and replicating the circumstances.

if the foam in the cover is damaged or you can't get it back in properly, you may have to pull the cowl cover and fasten it down that way.

Just a guess though, i had a similar buzz and that's what it was.

Just got my car back from the dealership after being there for 2 days. They narrowed it down to an improper installation of the windshield and part of the rubber seal around the outside of the frame tucked under. This was apparently causing the buzzing noise at high speeds. I guess I will have to do some spirited runs on Friday once I get my ECU back from Renntech to test their theory.

I also had this buzz a while back-it was the cover also. Check to make sure it's tight.
