Keeping radio on when car is shut off?

When I wash and wax my car, I like to have the windows down and the radio going. I noticed that there is only a certain amount of time that your accessories will stay on, such as radio, and then it shuts off. Does anyone know how to keep the radio on as long as you want while working on the car? Thanks!

you have to turn on accessory power to keep the radio on. without pressing the brake...press the start button

Does this allow it to stay on indefinitely? I thought it would still turn off on its own after a while, no?

It turns off so your battery won't die.... Spend $10 on a cheap small boom box or a rechargeable speaker for your phone/mp3 player
