First service for F30?
Weird I saw an article for the M3, they have a 1200 mile break-in service done on their cars. Our first maintenance is not until 10,000 or something? I think even the spark plugs and differential oil is done on theirs!

Nothing to worry about. The M3 parts and engine differ in a way that requires break-in oils to be changed out. Don't sweat it.

S4 is right. Different lubes and metallurgy necessitate an early drain of the peculiar factory fill on M cars. Be happy that we don't have that "problem".
