I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's Onyx Blue Metallic. I didn't think the Azurite Black had that strong of a blue color to it. I guess it could just be the pictures and lighting though.

That´s a BMW Individual Demo car (The interior and the wheels give it away). So you can be pretty sure it´s not a stock colour (Onyx), but an Individual colour (Azurite). I guess the blue comes out by the lighting (flash?)

Upps, then I´m sorry.

But then, I´m sure the colour was on the spec sheet in the showroom and the OP probably copied it from there. Still likely to be Azurite then, don´t you think?

If you look at the paint chips in this Individual package thread it doesn't look like the azurite has any blue tint to it. These are what I based my statement on.

I love the color though. Here is another good thread.

Wish we could get these colors in the US.
Just noticed in the thread that E90fleet says it has some blue in it. Like you said, hopefully the OP can fill us in.

Is the Azurite Black metallic or pearl?
Honda has a black paint that's called Nighthawk Black pearl. In different angles and reflections, you can see the blue. Almost exactly like the Azurite Black.

Hi again,

it is definitly Azurite-Black, in normal, not to bright daylight it looks like a very deep black with a very slight touch of Ultramarine - just the flash light makes the shiny Blue appear.I´m not really sure about now, but I think i´ll get it.
If you like to see -i´ve got some more pictures with/without flash.
