Anyone else using a nice phone holder on par with ProClips?

I like Proclips but I am not a fan of blocking air vents.

The ideal spot would be in the cup holder area.

That photo is bad / misleading. Most of what is under the Proclip is plastic and not vent, so solid underneath.

You can slide the pro clip mount further right.

Oh okay, that's for the clarification. I have Galaxy Note 3 and I did not want to monopolize an entire vent.

You'll have at least 75% clear and the bracket sticks out at far enough so even the bit that's "blocked" still has plenty of air flow.

I mounted my proclip mount with 3M Scotch Extreme Mounting Tape just in front of the center console so no air or cupholders are blocked. I tried to post a photo but "the system" keeps fighting with me about dimensions and resizing. I did post some successfully in the bimmerfest forum in July.

You can see the vent well in this pic. Having the phone there is great for access while driving and gps. It actually even looks worse than it is bc the cradle appears to be blocking more but the bracket prob has another half inch of clearance.

And the would be pissed if the fan didn't blow on her from both sides....she runs a bit hot. The cup holder idea would be the way for me
