Screw in tire
Hi guys,
I feel really pissed off, I got a big screw on my rear right tire. Can I change only one or I have to change both side ? I have 3000 km Thanks for your help. |

They likely can plug it and patch it from the inside. Perfectly fine if you don't track the car. Take it to a reputable tire shop and they can likely fix it for only a few bucks.

Don't sweat it! I caught one in less than 150 miles on the 4th day of owning my car . Here's proof lol! It can be patched up perfectly fine on that location, you don't need a new tire but if you catch that screw further by the sidewall then you would need one

Wow that looks more like a bolt vs a screw! Possibly a 1/4". Let us know if it is able to be patched. Good luck!

That doesn't look too big to patch at all. And what do you mean it's "too deep" to plug/patch? How deep the object is has nothing to do with whether or not it can plugged or patched, considering once it penetrates through to the inside of the tire, it doesn't even make a difference.

Just to update you because you were really nice with your advices, i had to change the tire, at BMW France they never patched tires on M cars... So a bit more than 400 Euros but its fine now she has a new shoe
BTW, I took the opportunity to order the M performance rear carbon diffuser , i will get it in 10 days |
