Talking F82 M4 H&R Supersport Springs & 15mm Spacers - Finshed Car Pics - TAG Motorsports

With more and more options and F80/F82's hitting the street, we felt like we should show you some more options and offerings so that we can help you make the right decision when it becomes time for the upgrades.

Today's candidate was a beautiful Black Sapphire Metallic, with Shakir Orange Interior. This time around, we did a set of H&R's newest and more aggressive spring, specific to the M3/M4 labeled "Supersport". This setup provides about 1.6" drop up front and 1.0" drop in the rear (compared to the "Sport Springs" F1.3"/R1.2" drop.)

Additional, H&R 15mm Front & Rear Spacers (in black) were added to give the OEM 19" 437M Wheels a bit closer to the fenders.

Top that off with our in-house alignment, and away she goes!

Brief Driving Impressions: We have done quite a few F8X as of late, and have driven several different suspension setups on them from F30 Springs to F80 Sports and now these F8X Specific Supersports, and I haveto say, that the ride quality on these was quite different. The car felt more planted and agile, without being too bone jarring. I expected that 1.6" drop up front leaving the nose a bit too low but it actually looks perfect!

On to the photos!

What do you guys think? If you have any questions at all regarding any of the parts you see, please feel free to contact us by clicking HERE or PM and reference this post in the subject.

Seems perfect IMO. I love raked looks, and this doesn't have too much at all.

I like the even look of the fender over each wheel as well. Some drops I've noticed still leave more space over the front tire compared to the rear.

The car looks amazing! My BSM is only a few weeks away from being delivered. What color are those brakes? Are they painted a different color or is it the photo processing that makes it look darker?

Great timing on the post. Been curious about the sport vs supersport setup. I don't want too much rake.

H&R site doesn't list spacers for the M4 specifically. Are they for the 435? Do you need longer bolts?

So what set up will be the best?
Supersport, sport, stock or what?
I mean DD+track.

I like the fact the supersport rear is not as low. Looks like a perfect drop.

It's interesting - the H&R super sports are supposed to have the same part number between the F80 but given that the F82 is that low in the back, the F80 must look like you have a bull elephant in the back.

This is my F80 with the Sports.

Hey, that's my ride. Loving the set-up! I have the gloss black kidney surround and side gills coming early next week. Shooting for the end of the month to have the wheels PC'd Satin Black. Thanks again, Alex.

Can you comment about which spacers were used? Part number?

Sorry, I don't know the part number. I PM'd Alex @tag (via this forum) and had him order the springs (M4 Specific SS) and spacers (15mm X4).

No worries. I'll get the info from him. After driving it has it settled anymore than what the picture shows?

Part number on those spacers is 3075726. They are for the 435i. Hope that helps!

Gone over any speed bumps or steeper entrances into parking lots, etc? My setup is going to be exactly the same with sports and front lip and I'm scared to death. lol

Yup, haven't had an issue, yet. Put about 500 miles on them. The lower lip is made to take some scrapes - should be fine!

Although, I did drive over a pine cone, thinking it would pass under ... and it didn't. no damage but it made a really loud noise!

Is it just me or does the M3 with Sports look just as low as the M4 with Super Sports?

Grubbs@tag: How would compare ride between the Sport and Super Sport springs? Trying to make a decision between the two. Thanks.
