Take a picture of your current set up. I've never looked under the hood of a 5. If it's the N54 motor it shouldnt be too different than what we have in the 3.

The t- hookup is closest to the front of the car and the single hose is closest to the rear of the car is the best description i can give
single hose < T hose> is the stock for the soleniod back to stock |

It does seem to be different. Where are the original hookup's?

This is where you're solenoids are.
In the third picture remove the coupler. There should be a solenoid near by with two outlets for vacuum, just place those two vacuum lines in the solenoid. Y are you putting it to stock?

What part is the actual solenoid that is supposed to have two open connections for these two lines to go back to?

Running the Procede V2 with them still bypassed i think is not a good thing, so i hope you can find someone to help you out...You can drive it, but don't go nuts and go WOT until they are back to stock

Will I be able to tell a difference once they are back to stock? Feels pretty good now.......Sure would like a pic from a 535 owner or some reference to a parts catalog.... |

I finally figured it out (thanks partially to 1BAD535). I have attached a pic showing what they looked like during 1.47 and also a pic of what they look like during V2 (back to stock). Hopefully, this will help the 535 owners in the future as the setup is different than the 535.
#1 on the first corresponds to where #1 should go on the second pic. #2 on the first corresponds to where #2 should go on the second pic (you basically point the #2 tube back towards the ground) |

basically if you run more boost, the ecu sees excessive duty cycle on the solenoids, and knows that something up... bypassing one of them basically makes the ecu think that you are only using stock or less boost, because the duty cycle is effectively halved because the one solenoid doesnt get boost, and the ecu logic averages the solenoid duty cycle between the 2. This is how I understood it... |
