Joyriide1113 Detailed: Black Saphire E93
Paint was not bad at all despite a lot of random deeper scratches that required heavy compounding to remove. The majority was wash induced marring that although heavy, was easily removed via Rotory.

How do you guys clean the engine bay? I think I have the exterior and interior down, but I'm lost when it comes to cleaning under the hood.
Nice work, BTW. And the photos really show what the color looks like under bright sunlight. We get so many "jet black or sapphire black?" posts, these photos would be a good place to point many new buyers.

Joy Oh, and if needed, I'll use an AIO type polish (like Klasse AIO, ZAIO, PB PWS, ect) to polish any painted areas. |

Luis,
Thanks again for the excellent work! I owe you. Sorry it took me so long to come on here and give some honest feedback, but I've been extremely busy. I highly recommend Luis' work. My car looks much better than when I drove it off the dealer's lot now. I think much of the damage was done by the dealer to begin with. I think I will be using his services again in the future since he pays great attention to detail, goes above and beyond expectations, and can work around your schedule. I wish I had the skill and patience to do this stuff myself. |

Hey man, where in Phoenix do you wash your car? My apt. complex is pretty stringent on no car-washing.

You could do that and risk it, or you can be safe about it and cover shit up... Precaution is also a big part of PREP which is the biggest part of detailing.
JOY Whatever looks sensitive. If you don;t know what it is, cover it and clean it later by hand. |
