Is the badge and adhesive designed to withstand the heat of the engine?

that's the heat shell....it doesn't get hot
not cool....but that's just my opinion

I forgot to add... I didnt actually glue them on. I just taped it from behind to see how it looked and take a picture. Wanted to gauge your opinions first. Im leaning towards not actually putting them on because I'm afraid that whatever glue I use will still fail and they can fall off and get into my belts or something

A lot of people put them on the chrome BMW license plates in the back.

+1, that's what I did with mine...painted them an SG-like color before re-attaching it to the license plate holder to give it some contrast.

The engine heat has to go somewhere. How about up? There's no way those badges would stay there by using glue, which is a good thing.
