Joining the GT Club :)

Picked it up a month ago and unfortunately haven't had enough excuses to drive it.

335xi GT:
ZMM M-Sport
Mineral Grey Metallic
LCSW Black Dakota Leather
4CE Anthracite wood (w/ Pearl Gloss Finishers)
ZPP Premium package
ZTP Tech package
ZDA Driver Assistance package
ZDB Driver Assistance Plus package
2MH M Sport Brakes
688 Harmon Kardon Sound
2V5 598M 19" Wheel

Impressions:
Came from a 06 M Roadster which I still cherish. They're completely different cars but it was time to have something with space and more practicality in the city (also — S54 maintenance is starting to bite!).

High points are:
- Technology. A stunning amount of progress in a decade. Surprisingly all the drivers assistance stuff has proven far more useful than I'd have ever guessed (blind spot warning, collision avoidance and such).

- Engine. N55 is incredibly strong and reminds me a lot of M52 and M54, both of which I hold in extremely high regard. The sound and willingness to rev (without being frenetic like S54) are all big plusses. N20 is impressive but at the end of the day the classic inline 6 sound won us over.

- Space / packaging. Surprisingly there aren't that many choices when you're looking for something that can cary four 6' adults *comfortably* (say for a day road trip to the wine country) and also be fast, good to look at, and luxurious. SUVs like the Macan, X3 / X4 and Q5 we thought were most competitive but were ruled out (too expensive, too low a rear bench and older car respectively).

Onto the pics!

At the dealership / cell phone pictures:

And the best for last

That looks like Bryant St. Are you planning on tinting the windows? I'm looking for one in the city.

It is Bryant St. No leads on a tint shop — curious to hear where you end up.

Based on the reviews on Yelp. I planned on checking with Secure way body and glass. They are also on Bryant.

I went to a place call Auto Tech. They did a great job on mine. 3M 55% for the front and 35% for the rest.
