BMW M performance 4 series black grill installed on F80 : single slat

I don't like the new double slat grill a whole lot, and am not a fan of all the M badges everywhere on the car. So, I ordered a set of 4 series BMW performance grills from tischer (great price at 104 bucks for the set, and sidebar, I have no idea why anyone buys any of these parts from IND. the prices are absurd and are the same as others are selling just a ton more expensive).

See the pics attached. Im digging the look, and if I ever want to change back to the double slat I can just separate out these and swap in the inside of my OEM grill. I doubt that will happen though.

Not saying this is for everyone, but IMO its another interesting option.

Looks great! People buy from IND because Tischer can't sell you body matched grills/gills. If you're going with the black or a matte black, then I agree there are plent of higher value options.

With that said, you can just use the grill surrounds with M4 grill right? This is basically what IND sends you. They actually include the 4 series grill with it.

Very nice! I, too, much prefer the single slat over the double.

Correct, our grill surrounds that we offer are the same and we include the single slats in the package, in case someone prefers the look.

Looks good. I did the same thing on my M3. Went single slat without the M logo.
