Seat position not stored in the profile.

When I had my car in for the 1200 mile service I switched to the guest profile to have my settings intact in my profile. When I picked up the car I switched back to my profile and everything returned as I had configured it, except the most important. Seat position. The tech had almost been lying down driving...

Fortunately I had prepared for the worst and stored my setting in a seat memory button as well

Is there a trick to store the seat position in the profile?

Make sure "auto last seat position" is selected in settings.

Set your seat memory with your profile, save it the way you want it.

Turn off vehicle, exit and lock it with the key fob.

The profile slot should save to the key you just used.

Hmmm, I don't really want auto last position on or the setting only locked to the key. I want the seat position stored to the profile so that anytime I switch to a profile the seating position for that profile is applied. Can I do that, i.e have auto last position off and store the seating position to the current profile?
