My Eisenmann Has Finally Arrived!
Damn, the eisenmann exhaust is huge! So in reality, my exhaust along with hunters is the exact same thing, due to the fact that both engines are the same except for the 330i being tuned abit more than the 325i?

Cool! The stock one is huge too, just look under the car...
When's it going on?

So im gonna try to setup a before (Stock)/ after (eisenmann) video like hunter did.
My primary question is, how difficult is it to remove the stock exhaust? Is it simply just removing the bolt on the stock and disconnecting it? In which after you would hook on the hangers to the chassis and bolt eisenmann exhaust? Because my father is actually considering taking on the task of installing the eisenmann exhaust himself without the assistance of a qualfied mechanic. I regret to say that I did not recieve any photos or illustrations from eisenmann on how to install the exhaust onto the E90. |

I know nothing about this exhaust, but I've installed diffrent sorts of cat-back exhausts on other vehicles that I've owned. If this is a slip on, then installation should be fairly easy. Essentially cutting the old exhaust is typically the worst part, but can be accomplished via sawzall, or similar device. Then is the matter of reutilizing the hangers.

I had an eisenmann on my E46, install is about the same, if you are doing it yourself.
Get the car in the air (ramps are best), and detach the whole exhaust system, right off the cat/header. (4 bolts). Disconnect all the other brackets, etc etc and remove the whole exhaust system. Compare the eisenmanns connection point to the OEM, and cut the OEM with a sawsalll, or a hacksaw. Measure twice, cut once! Reinstall the OEM pipes etc. Then install the eisenmann onto it. Note: for 100 bucks a muffler shop will cut your stock exhaust off and weld on the eisenmann, which is a lot less hassle, and you will have a better connection; the clamps tend to leak. |

Why can't it be a bolt-on cat-back systems? Your paying good money for it. It does look nice and shiny, just needs a little bit more pipe.

Hey guys I finally got it installed! Will make a comparison movie in a few days. For now heres some pics! The exhaust sounds absolutely sinister! Especially when you first start the engine. Hunter's movies do the exhaust no justice! You have actually be hearing straight with your own ears to appreciate this wonderful exhaust! I can't stop smiling as I drive! IMO it was well worth every penny!
