Spotify artwork and track name not working on idrive

So it looks like it only shows the first track and artwork from when the phone is plugged in but afterwards when skipping to the next song, it stays on the same information of the first track....does anyone have this issue too??

It's really frustrating to know theres a major glaring bug like this in the system...

It seems this problem only happens on the newer navigation systems. My 2014 4 series has this problem on Spotify with the iPhone, but works with Android (without the artwork though).

On my friends 2012 3 series, my iPhone and Android works on his car.

Been like this from when the NBT came out.

BMW don't really work towards fixing issues like this, I would guess this will never be fixed on any current car, more likely on the next version of Nav.
