They'd lighten your wallet by $200.

Honestly after my recent experience with two dealers not being able to adjust my camber properly due to my aftermarket strut brace and rear sway bar (or so they say), I tend to believe that whatever the car came with from factory is what it should stay with.

Now, shocks, springs tires and wheels and that sort of thing- well that's a personal preference.

yes the weight savings will be minuscule, if you vacuum your car really good and scrub the seats with a deep cleaner to remove accumulated dirt and oil, I'm sure that will save you more weight that these.
If i was so concerned about every extra pound i think first off id wash my car everyday and vacuum it to make it lighter and then i would go on a diet to lose 10 lbs, i think that will be much cheaper and will increase performance by much more than some rear arms. just my $.02

you should really find a tech that knows how to do an alignment.

are your alignment pins knocked out on your strut towers? perhaps the added neg camber is confusing them and all they see is a strut brace there so they are blaming that.

as for rear sway bar... don't really know what to say about that. it would kinda like be like blaming your brake pads for not being able to perform an alignment.

but then, did they suggest you buy authentic bmw aftermarket items for your car from them and it will solve all your issues?

i think with stock power on the street these things are overkill. i would imagine under huge power/tracklike cornering loads they will have some value.

but they really do look bitchin'.

No they did not propose authentic BMW performance parts.

I am here to gain some education, as I don't know everything about the workings of my car just yet.

I definitely understand now that none of this affects the ability to adjust camber, and I thank you.
